Location
- Take I-40 to Exit 53a or I-240 to Exit 9
- Go East on US-74-A (Fairview/Blue Ridge Parkway/Bat Cave)
- Drive aproximately 6 miles.
- Joe Jenkins Road is on the right directly across from Angelo’s Restaurant.
If you’re new to the garden, you can find us by turning onto Joe Jenkins Road, (Near Trout Lily and Caty Corner to Angelos) and pulling into our entrance just prior to the parking for The Chapel Door.
The Lord’s Acre is NOT the unfenced garden adjacent to Joe Jenkins Rd. You can’t see our garden from the road or from the church. Follow the dirt road and as you crest that little hill, you’ll see The Lord’s Acre.
The electric double deer fence is off when volunteers are present but please use caution until you’re sure it’s off. There will be a wooden gate for you to enter by. (If you do happen to come out when no one is working, please close all gates, be careful where you walk, do not allow children to run free in the garden and please refrain from smoking in the garden – since it spreads disease.)
